Ladakh's classic circuit in a week. Acclimatise in Leh, drive along the Indus to Magnetic Hill and Alchi, cross Khardung La to the sand dunes of Nubra, and spend a night beside the blue waters of Pangong Lake.

The price excludes flights to Leh. Choose from seven hotel categories, from Standard to Premium Plus.

Day-wise itinerary

    Day 1: Arrive in Leh

    Transfer to the hotel and rest to acclimatise at 3,500 metres. Late afternoon, walk the market and visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

  2. 2

    Day 2: Sham Valley excursion

    Drive along the Indus to the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, the Indus–Zanskar confluence at Nimmu and Alchi Gompa, then back to Leh.

    Day 3: Leh to Nubra via Khardung La

    Cross Khardung La at 18,390 ft to Nubra Valley (120 km, 4–5 hours) and check in at Hunder.

    Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Lake

    Ride a double-humped camel on the Hunder sand dunes, then drive via Agham and Shyok Valley to Pangong Lake (150 km, 5 hours).

    Day 5: Pangong to Leh via Chang La

    Morning by the lake, then drive to Leh via Chang La, visiting Hemis, Thiksey, Shey Palace and the 3 Idiots Rancho School.

    Day 6: A free day in Leh

    A day at leisure with no transport. Shop for souvenirs in the market.

Important information

Ladakh's travel season runs from May to October. These are 2026 season rates; ask us for 2027 dates and prices. Take complete rest on your first day to acclimatise to the altitude of about 3,500 metres. The Hall of Fame is closed on Mondays.
